The best things in life are free!!!

Staying up late Saturday night , remembering all the stories and adventures my brother and I had (RIP TONY MEZA) just gave me all the energy I needed. It was about midnight as I sit there pondering whether or not to catch some sleep before I have to be up at 5am to get ready to head to Big Bear to help a fellow friend and rider out. I sat there for hours going through pictures and videos of my brother, smiles on my face the whole time.......that is when I was given the thought that I need to continue to share and spread those smiles like I always do. Forming a couple cohesive early morning thoughts to plan a route, I await my two friends and fellow riders, Jake and Matt who kindly volunteered their time as well.

Our mission, to bring tons of smiles and a couple laughs to the ladies at the Womens Sportbike Rally that took place in Big Bear, CA.

530 am rolls around and we are on our way for the couple hour journey to the  mountain to meet all these women that gave up their weekend and drove/rode from all over the United States and Canada for this once a year event (on the west coast).

We arrive, shortly after 930am and are greeted by my friend Brittany Morrow, Gives us the rundown of the activities that day. We look at each other and think "This is gonna be fun!!"  She had planned a surprise bike wash for all the ladies in attendance and wanted a couple San Diego Riders to be the ones to partake in this surprise. As always SDR is there to help where possible, so we changed into some shorts and got the supplies ready, bikes lined up and away we went!!!!

Seeing all the girls bringing their bikes for a free wash after a weekend of riding I bet felt like a nice bath/shower after a weekend of camping, it does a bike good!!! Smiles were peeking out of every female there as they had their turn to watch a couple guys hose their babies down! So many similarities between guys and girls when each are getting their bikes washed, make sure the rims are cleaned , make sure the bugs are gone etc etc.  No complaining on our end since we were there to make this the best surprise possible!!!

Bikes were lined up, washed then dried, and some were washed again just because we were picky with the way they came out. All in all it was a great meet and greet event for all that stayed and got their bike washed.

It was all worth it, the no sleep, the long drive etc etc....Womens Sport Bike Rally West, Recap, Dedication, support! For all the women that were there this year, my helmet goes off to y'all!!
